Exploration Bach et Baryton

L'été dernier à pareille date, j'étais en studio pour enregistrer mon premier album solo. Et oui, un album sur lequel je joue deux des suites de Bach pour Violoncelle seul au sax baryton, sans accompagnement, sans rien ni personne d'autre. Toute une expérience !
Mais il faut que je me corrige. En disant ...sans rien ni personne d'autre... je mens. Dans le studio, je n'étais pas seul. En plus de Robert, ingénieur du son, deux de mes meilleurs amis étaient présents, soit Véronique et Bernard. Sans eux, ce projet n'aurait jamais existé. Ils m'ont tous deux fait confiance et m'ont soutenu dans cette aventure. Merci à vous deux d'être de si merveilleux amis !
Et maintenant, c'est le temps de passer au prochain chapitre, le lancement du disque. Au programme, du sax baryton, de la musique de Bach et un trio jazz avec Bernard Riche à la batterie et Guy Boisvert à la basse. Last summer at this date, I was in the studio to record my first solo album. Yes, an album where I play two of the Bach Cello Suites on baritone saxophone, without accompaniment, alone. What an experience!
But I need to correct myself here. I wasn't quite alone... Robert, sound engineer, was present as well as two of my best friends, Véronique et Bernard. Without them this project would've never existed. They trusted me and most of all supported me during this adventure. Thank you both for being such amazing friends!
An now is the time to get to the next chapter of this story, the CD launch. On the program, baritone saxophone, music from Bach and a jazz trio with Bernard Riche on the drums and Guy Boisvert on the bass. This is going to be a great evening :) And it will all take place on August 29th at 8pm at the Centre d'Art de Richmond.
